Bianca Devitt is a practicing academic medical oncologist at Eastern Health, where she also serves as Director of Physician Training and a member of the Human Research Ethics Committee.
Nationally, she contributes to workforce development as Deputy Chair of the Medical Oncology Advanced Training Committee for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She holds joint adjunct academic appointments at the Eastern Health Clinical School and the Centre for Health Economics at Monash University.
Bianca has led and facilitated a broad program of breast cancer research at Eastern Health, spanning industry-sponsored, cooperative group, and investigator-initiated studies. She has collaborated with researchers at Monash and Deakin Universities and has implemented co-designed survivorship care interventions for patients with breast cancer in routine clinical practice.
These projects have directly translated research into patient-centred service delivery.
