Allison Jaure (née Tong) is a Principal Research Fellow at The University of Sydney School of Public Health; Co-Lead of the Centre for Kidney Research at The Children Hospital at Westmead, and Chair of the Patient-centred research (PACER) network.
She is internationally recognised for pioneering patient-centred outcomes research, particularly in chronic kidney disease and co-production of trials.
Allison co-founded and leads the global Standardised Outcomes in Nephrology (SONG) initiative, involving over 500 investigators and 10,000 patients across 100 countries, embedding core outcome sets in trials, registries and guidelines worldwide.
She also led the COVID-19-COS initiative and developed widely endorsed reporting guidelines (COREQ, ENTREQ, REPRISE) that have transformed transparency and patient involvement in research.
Her work has shaped international policy and clinical trial guidance through collaborations with FDA, EMA, WHO, and KDIGO.
